Dan Smith

Project Manager

Dan Smith is a seasoned automotive professional with over 40 years of experience in the industry. He began his career with Ford Motor Company in 1976 and has held a variety of positions, including sales and distribution, marketing, and franchise coordination. In 1986, he became vice president and operating partner of Queen City Ford in Long Beach, California. 

He later served as a dealership consultant before becoming president and owner-operator of Holiday Ford in Shafter, California, in 1991. In 2012, he was appointed Executive Director of Employers Training Resource, the Kern County Workforce Investment Board. He has since held the position of commercial and municipal sales representative for Jim Burke Ford in Bakersfield, California.
